Help please I need advice

I got a surprise in my paycheck this week last paycheck I had to pay for my license renewal for work. My boss reimbursed me this paycheck I know I want to place it on a bill because the money was already accounted for. But I'm undecided as to if I should pay ahead on a utility bill or towards my debt snowball what do you think its $69 not a lot but something.

    Where did the money come from? I assume a savings account and that's where you should consider putting it back.

    The money came from my last paycheck I budgeted it out of my check.

    I would throw it to a debt- less interest in the long run.

    So then maybe put the money towards an account you are snowballing. Right now you are likely "very excited" to get rid of a certain bill, and this $65 addition will help it go away and encourage your enthusiasm. Sometimes it is better to continue the momentum and keep the energy alive, because next month might come and something will happen where you are backlogged for a while. And paying a debt is never a bad thing.

    I agree with Gamecock, if you haven't paid the Sallie Mae in your sidebar, that $69 will almost pay if off. I'd definitely put it towards a bill where I'd see a big difference on my next statement. Good luck and enjoy the feeling!
